"Hello neighbor,
From the time I was five years old, my life was highly influenced by baseball. My dream was to play as often and as long as possible, and at that point, musicals would have only gotten in the way of that goal. However, on the day of auditions for my high school's production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, I thought, what the heck just do it. That "carpe diem" moment set me on a path I am beyond grateful for. When I perform, I have the chance to share messages with other people. And for me, I have come to understand my emotions and learn that it's okay for me to feel them. This career has almost scared me away so many times, then I think about Walt Whitman’s O Me! O Life!: “...the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse”. This is my verse for the world, and I’d be damned if I did anything else."
